The worst that could happen is unthinkable, but maybe, just maybe, this will turn the people of Pakistan against their would-be Sharia masters.
I doubt it, Shoprat. They seem to love the chaos and violence this will allow. Riots and murders are just the bginning!

The pre-emptive killing of terrorists before they decide on a juicy target, is the only sane goal of those who wish to win a war to the knife with the Islamic war with holiness.
But sanity, these days, is not as common as it used to be when common sense was enforced by death and injury.
Those that prefer to be on the defensive against those using violence, will forever be at a disadvantage for they are the ones that violence is being used on, rather than the ones doing the violence.
The ones doing the violence tend to have a higher chance of survival. For an extraordinary application of this philosophy, please look at this program of self-defense.

A typical advertisement line would be "what would you do in a situation with two people where a man was choking the other?"
To which the normal assumption is that you are the one being choked. Which TFT turns on its head by simply stating that you made the wrong assumption.
