They want us to 'move on'; they want us to stop bringing it up. And, sadly, some of those voices are coming from the Right.

The problem is that we are seeing a lot of tributes, of which "2,996" was an important part, and little actual action to not allow such a horror occur again. So in a small way I can agree - let's stop wailing and gnashing our teeth, but get moving, putting pressure on our elected representatives. Get them to do the hard work we pay them for.

I fear it isn't enough.benninghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12883327259794768568noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-15375010.post-1158441605356091302006-09-16T17:20:00.000-04:002006-09-16T17:20:00.000-04:00I just happened across your blog for the first tim...I just happened across your blog for the first time via neo-neocon's. Thank you for this post! I sat in my recliner I think all day after calling in sick, because truth be told I was after seeing what happen. That was the longest I've ever watched television in my life at one time.:(Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-15375010.post-1158106732357112662006-09-12T20:18:00.000-04:002006-09-12T20:18:00.000-04:00Thanks for sharing your experience of 5 years ago ...Thanks for sharing your experience of 5 years ago - I did the same on my blog as well.

I agree that the resolve of the American appears to have waned. On Monday, MSNBC replayed the Today Show's original broadcast during the time the events unfolded. I remember how confused everyone was at first.
What did you think of "Path to 911"?

Having trouble typing today.American Crusaderhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16289577534372163973noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-15375010.post-1158083859963575822006-09-12T13:57:00.000-04:002006-09-12T13:57:00.000-04:00This comment has been removed by a blog administrator.American Crusaderhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16289577534372163973noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-15375010.post-1158083814963222162006-09-12T13:56:00.000-04:002006-09-12T13:56:00.000-04:00This comment has been removed by a blog administrator.American Crusaderhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16289577534372163973noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-15375010.post-1158052577181932912006-09-12T05:16:00.000-04:002006-09-12T05:16:00.000-04:00We will never give up. Five years later and I will never forget or forgive. I know there are a lot of Americans out there who feel the same way. It's those of us who will lead the fight and keep us safe in the years to come.Sueshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03449943067796255822noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-15375010.post-1158029051243159672006-09-11T22:44:00.000-04:002006-09-11T22:44:00.000-04:00Beautiful post..& thanks for sharing..and your sup...Beautiful post..& thanks for sharing..and your support durin this time..:)WomanHonorThyselfhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17211851365273181636noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-15375010.post-1158015040538618812006-09-11T18:50:00.000-04:002006-09-11T18:50:00.000-04:00Thankfully, since I work third shift, I slept thro...Thankfully, since I work third shift, I slept through the horrid events of that day...camojackhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07636605293846764764noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-15375010.post-1157933138486317532006-09-10T20:05:00.000-04:002006-09-10T20:05:00.000-04:00They are poignant moments for us all, and no matte...They are poignant moments for us all, and no matter how old we get we will remember where we were and what we were doing on that day.Brookehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03977090801334626461noreply@blogger.com
